About the Conference
The recent release of the Victorian AOD Strategy sets out a 10-year plan to build a more connected, culturally responsive and capable system, with a holistic approach to reducing harm and stigma while improving health, mental health and wellbeing.
This year’s Service Providers Conference takes its lead from these priorities. The program is grounded in culture—highlighting Social and Emotional Wellbeing, First Nations healing approaches, and culturally safe, stigma-free care. It emphasises connection through stronger integration across sectors, alongside place-based responses that meet people where they are. It also spotlights innovation—from new service models and contemporary research to the growing role of AI in clinical practice.
Shaping the Future reflects the importance of drawing on shared practice wisdom as we move into the implementation of the Victorian AOD Strategy. The program offers a practical, forward-looking agenda to support collaboration, leadership and impact across the sector.
