Lived and living experience workforce development project in the NE Metro region

Lived and Living Experience Workforce (LLEW) is a growing workforce and structured support systems and capacity building activities are still emerging. There is a need for a platform to bring the LLEW from mental health and AOD sectors together locally to provide professional development, networking, and collegial support opportunities. LLEW development is one of the key strategic priorities for Mental Health Service Coordination Alliances in the North East Metro Region (NEMHSCA and EMHSCA).

The purpose of this project is to support and build capability of the local mental health and AOD LLEW. The project works across the tertiary, community, and primary care mental health and AOD settings and is led by the LLEW Working Group who used a human-centred design approach to co-design a range of development activities to address the identified challenges.
