About the opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Specialist AOD Family Violence Advisor looking to move into a new challenging role and to further their career. The position will be based in Hume/Moreland or in North East Melbourne. The position will provide expertise and support for workers in the AOD sector within the catchment, to identify and respond to family violence with their clients, whether they are experiencing family violence or perpetrating family violence. You will provide practice leadership as well as supporting and strengthening the networks and collaborations across the catchments and sector.

About you
To be successful in the role you will have tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, nursing or other relevant allied health discipline, certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs Work or 4 key competencies in AOD, qualifications in dual diagnosis or willingness to undertake, as well as demonstrated experience working in the AOD and/or dual diagnosis clients.
