Hello Victorian AOD Peer Workforce!

It’s that time again and we are very excited to announce that we have a date locked in for the next Victorian AOD Peer Workforce Community of Practice (CoP).

As a peer worker, we would like you to participate in the CoP to contribute to the growth of Victoria’s AOD peer workforce. The CoP serves as an opportunity for you to network with other Peer Workers around the state, to celebrate successes, share difficulties, feedback to the agency, community and government and explore new opportunities.

What is the Community of Practice?

The Self Help Addiction Resource Centre (SHARC) currently facilitates the AOD Peer Workforce Community of Practice supported by the Department of Health (DH).

The Community of Practice (CoP) for the AOD Peer Workforce supports and cultivates the existing and emerging Peer Workforce and seeks to draw upon the collective knowledge, experiences, and resources of our community to provide:

• Continuous professional development
• Collegiate support to underpin sharing, resourcing and collaborative problem solving
• Opportunities for consultation and feedback to enhance the development of the Peer Workforce
