FreeThis session will provide an overview of strategies for building a safe and inclusive practice and coordinating care in a regional context. It is specifically aimed at AOD and mental health workers in the Glenelg/Great South Coast region.
This workshop is offered by Hamilton Centre and funded by the Victorian Department of Health.

Presenters
Annie Williams is a highly experienced registered nurse who has worked in clinical leadership and project management roles. She is committed to continuous improvement, advocacy, and equitable service delivery. Annie holds a master’s qualification in Pain Management and has collaborated extensively with the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector.
Dr Katrin Oliver is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and clinical-academic with clinical and leadership experience within the AOD sector. Katrin has a unique blend of clinical social work AOD and mental health expertise, clinical leadership within community settings, health education design and delivery, and qualitative research skills. Her doctoral research exploring place-based influences on AOD recovery sparked an ongoing interest in environmental effects on health and wellbeing.
