Need Support for Alcohol or Other Drug Issues?

If you or someone you care about is struggling with alcohol or other drug use, help is available. You’re not alone, and support services are here to assist you.

🛠️ How to Access Support

Step 1: Start with DirectLine

The easiest way to get help is to contact DirectLine, a free, 24/7, confidential phone and online service that connects you with alcohol and other drug support in Victoria.

They’ll talk with you about your situation and help you access the right support near you.

Step 2: Intake and Assessment

After speaking with DirectLine, you may need to go through an intake and assessment process. This is how most people access free, government-funded treatment services in Victoria. The intake process is done by trained workers who listen to your needs and work with you to find a service that fits.

You don’t need to figure this out on your own—DirectLine can guide you through it.
