Senior Education & Training Officer

• Limited Term Part Time | 45.6 hours per fortnight | 0.6 EFT

• Salary - 103,324 - 113,521

Turning Point is a national treatment, research and education centre that provides leadership in the alcohol and drug, gambling and mental health sectors in Victoria.

Take your AOD experience and move into a new exciting opportunity building the knowledge and skills of the AOD sector by managing education projects at Turning Point. You will liaise with key AOD sector stakeholders and partners to deliver education projects and professional development training, which will improve the workforce capability of the AOD sector to deliver its services.

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Clinical experience in the alcohol and drug /mental health field or sound understanding of current alcohol and drug /mental health issues
• Experience in the design and conduct of complex education/training projects
• Ability to project manage a number of education/training projects
• Ability to supervise and manage staff
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Post-graduate tertiary qualification in the health, social or behavioural sciences field.
