About the role:
As a Program Facilitator with Ballarat Community Health, you'll play a vital role in empowering individuals to make lasting, positive change through the delivery of accredited Drink Drug Drive Behaviour Change programs. In this person-centred role, you'll create a safe, respectful space for participants to reflect, learn, and take control of their choices. With flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to grow and shape the program alongside a passionate team, this is a rewarding role where your skills and empathy make a real difference in people's lives and the wider community.
What you will bring to the team:
A compassionate, client-focused approach, with the ability to support and empower individuals through therapeutic group work and one-on-one AOD counselling.
Proven skills in delivering behaviour change programs, using evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing and tailored strategies that respect age, gender, and cultural differences.
Strong communication and engagement skills, to build trust with clients and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across the community.
Confidence using digital tools and client systems, including maintaining accurate records, navigating the VicRoads portal, and using Microsoft Office efficiently.
A flexible, self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and align with the values and supportive culture of Ballarat Community Health.
