Is someone in your family or a friend using drugs and/or alcohol? Are you looking for practical, down-to-earth information and support? This workshop is suitable for anybody who is seeking up to date information on alcohol and other drugs and available treatment options. It will cover:

- Effects and risks of drug use
- How drugs are taken
- Dependence & withdrawal

- What families need to know about treatment
- Family, friends and supporters expectations of treatment

- What happens in treatment and how people change
- What families can do when their person is in treatment
