Odyssey House Victoria is now delivering a series of online SMART Recovery Support and Education groups for Family and Friends who live with or care for people living with the risk of overdose. Due to current COVID circumstances, this will be run on Zoom

The groups will be offered every Tuesday for 8 weeks. Each session will cover a module of the SMART Recovery education and support program.

These modules are:

  • Session 1: Finding the Motivation to Change
  • Session 2: Self-care Support and Rewards
  • Session 3: The ABCs of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Session 4: Assertive Communication
  • Session 5: Problem Solving and Making Better Choices
  • Session 6: Coping with a Lapse
  • Session 7: Keeping Safe and Seeking Support
  • Session 8: Goal Setting

Participants do not have to attend every session, but it is encouraged.

Every person attending receives a Certificate of Completion for the completed session.
