This course is the next level after Foundations of Alcohol and Other Drugs.

During our AOD in Practice training, participants will look further into harm minimisation principles and how to apply them, referral pathways and understanding what they are and when a referral should take place, and what supports are available for families.

We will look at basic Motivational Interviewing and why it is important. Learning this will assist anyone working in a community-based workplace and will allow you to develop your skillset to be able to work with people with alcohol and other drug needs.
