Applications are now open for the AOD Leadership Accelerator Program, delivered by VAADA and RMIT with the support of the Victorian Department of Health.
If you’re an emerging leader (not currently in a leadership role but aspiring to step into one) or a new manager/leader (in the role for 12 months or less), this is a valuable opportunity to build your leadership capability within the AOD context.
25 places are being offered for our first program in 2026, which will run from 7 May to 6 August.
Eligibility
- You must be able to attend all in-person and online sessions (a total of 9 sessions)
- You are a new manager (less than one year), or an emerging leader not currently in a leadership role, but has an interest in progressing into a leadership/management role
Course Information
- In-person workshops will be hosted at VAADA (Level 6, 222 Hoddle Street, Abbotsford) from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm.
- Workshops and the Community of Practice are held on Thursdays.
- Online workshops are held from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM. The first workshop will be held on Thursday, 7 May.
Cost
- $250.00 per person, per organisation
- Successful applicants from rural or regional services will have course fees waived to help offset the additional travel costs associated with attending the three in-person workshops.
