In some ways it can feel like that person is replaced by a stranger who’s behaviours are impacting us in a variety of ways.\nThis session explores how Family Members can find themselves experiencing a range of emotions such as grief\, guilt and shame\, trauma\, and over time ‘compassion fatigue’ when their loved one is caught up in a toxic relationship with addiction. Becoming aware of these states and practicing self care\, can lead to much better outcomes for ourselves and our loved one.
