Posted t ENEWS for Emma Hooper on behalf of ReGen.

The Torque Program is accepting referrals for the upcoming episode commencing 30 July 2018. Torque is an evidence based, non-residential rehabilitation program for clients struggling with alcohol or other substance use issues, who are willing to commit to abstinence for the six weeks of the program. There is no cost to the program, and clients receive a Myki card while participating in the program. The program helps clients develop new coping strategies using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach. The program also includes nutrition, relaxation, yoga, gym and art therapy to promote a healthy lifestyle. It is a closed group with a maximum of 12 participants, and is held at Uniting ReGen at 26 Jessie Street Coburg.

Clients will need to complete a residential or non-residential withdrawal prior to starting the program. This can include monitoring for clients who have already completed their withdrawal.

To discuss potential referrals please phone the Torque team on 0447696133.
