DESCRIPTION:Hello from the Team here at Peer Projects! \nWe are thrilled to announce that registrations for our next Peer Worker Training are open. \nEligibility: This training is free and for AOD Peer Workers in state-funded services in Victoria. \nDuration: 6 days\, 9:30am – 3:00pm each day. \nDates: 9th\, 10th\, 11th\, 15th\, 16th and 17th June 2026. \nWhere: Online training\, link to be sent once registered. \nIf you\, or anybody you know who is in a Victorian AOD Peer Worker role\, is yet to attend SHARC’s Peer Worker Training\, then please register and share the link with your networks accordingly. \nRegistrations are sure to fill up fast so make sure you register your interest as soon as possible if you would like to attend the training via the following link: \nSHARC Peer Worker Training Registration Questionnaire – Fill out form \nSHARC Peer Worker Training aims to: \n• Educate peer workers around the concepts and core competencies of the peer work discipline. \n• Assist peer workers to apply best practice peer work in formalised settings. \n• Explore the key components of the role with a focus on the peer relationship. \n• Increase confidence and develop skills in communication and navigating relational parameters. \n• Develop understandings of ethical practice and workplace legislative requirements. \n• Empower peer workers to advocate for the discipline and manage their own wellbeing and development needs. \n• Prepare peer workers to work across a number of domains\, remaining ‘peer’ within clinical governance frameworks. \nPlease note that registrations for spots in the training close by COB Tuesday 12th of May 2026. \nFor those of you who are not currently in a Victorian State-funded AOD Peer Work role who are interested in attending the training: please stay updated on our mailing list for when there is an available training for you. \nFor any questions regarding the training please email peersupport@sharc.org.au \nThanks \nPeer Projects Team.

DESCRIPTION:Hello Victorian AOD Peer Workforce! \nIt’s that time again and we are very excited to announce that we have a date locked in for the next Victorian AOD Peer Workforce Community of Practice (CoP). \nAs a peer worker\, we would like you to participate in the CoP to contribute to the growth of Victoria’s AOD peer workforce.
