SUMMARY:SHARC AGM
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend SHARC’s 30th Annual General Meeting on Monday 24 November 2025. \nThis year marks 30 years of a community that has grown together\, faced challenges together\, and always supported each other. \nSince 1995\, SHARC has been a haven for people experiencing addiction\, and their families. But it’s not just about the services we provide – it’s about the people who have walked alongside us\, shared their stories\, their struggles\, and their strength. These stories and voices have shaped who we are today. At each step\, it’s been about the community that makes SHARC what it is. \nPlease join us in celebrating 30 years and all the journeys that have brought us here. Let’s come together to reflect on the work we’ve done\, the relationships we’ve built\, and the road ahead. \nThe AGM will feature speakers from our programs: \n\nAssociation of Participating Service Users (APSU)\n\n\nPeer Projects\n\n\nResidential Peer Programs\n\n\nFamily Drug and Gambling Help (FDGH)\n\nPlease RSVP by Monday 17 November 2025.

The Community of Practice (CoP) for the AOD Peer Workforce supports and cultivates the existing and emerging AOD Peer Workforce and seeks to draw upon the collective knowledge\, experiences and resources of our community to provide: \n\nContinuous professional development\nCollegiate support to underpin sharing\, resourcing and collaborative problem solving\nOpportunities for consultation and feedback to enhance the development of the Peer Workforce\n\nThe CoP serves as an opportunity to network with other AOD Peer Workers around the state\, to celebrate successes\, share difficulties\, feedback to agency\, community and government and explore new opportunities. \nThe CoP is an important part of networking and professional development for the Victorian AOD Peer Workforce. We encourage agencies to support their AOD Peer Workers to attend as part of their professional practice and support needs.
