Duration: 18-month fixed-term appointment

Remuneration: $104,185 - $123,720 pa Level B / $127,624 - $147,159 pa Level C (plus 17% employer superannuation) level based on experience

The Opportunity

Turning Point is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Research Fellow (Statistician) level B or C dependent on experience to contribute to the design and analysis of research studies in the area of addiction and mental health, as well as program evaluation and the development of relevant statistical methodology.

The key research component of this position involves engaging in a variety of research projects. Contributions will include writing statistical analysis plans, conducting analysis, and providing input to the development of study protocols, grant applications, and research papers.

We are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area (including Biostatistics, statistics or health or social sciences, with experience conducting advanced statistical analyses ) or equivalent qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in data manipulation and analysis for clinical trials, longitudinal studies (causal inference, methods for handling missing data etc.) and power calculations. Knowledge of population models, time series analyses, data linkage methodologies and meta-analyses is desirable.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
