Odyssey House Victoria (OHV) is a place of hope and positive change for individuals working towards breaking their pattern of addiction. The Hope Restart Centre is a new state-wide residential drug and rehabilitation centre operated by OHV and is located at Lucknow, near Bairnsdale, East Gippsland.
We are seeking an individual to lead and guide a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of a best practice model of Theraputic Community Care. The Manager and the Program will be supported by a well-established quality framework ensuring best practice at all levels of the operations.
You will have a professional qualification in psychiatric nursing, psychology or social work and/or significant experience in residential drug and alcohol/mental health facility as a senior staff member. You will have a comprehensive understanding of alcohol and drug substance abuse, as well as an understanding of residential rehabilitation services.
You will also have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders including ancillary service providers and community services and groups.
The position is offered as a fixed term contract until 30 June 2023, with the possibility of extension, if funding allows. The position will report to the Executive Manager Residential Services.
