Who we are looking for
We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician who is excited about being part of the hsM leadership team and playing an integral part in the development and delivery of a new headspace centre for Melton. The position is offered as a fixed term contract to 30 June 2020, with possibility of extension if funding allows. The role is based in Melton.
The key purpose of the position is to provide general clinical support and clinical supervision to the headspace clinical team, consortium co-contribution staff and private providers, and to contribute to ongoing service development and clinical governance activities. This role also carries a small client caseload.
A day in the life of this position might include: supporting staff and client’s generally and in the event of a centre crisis, attending intake and allocation meetings, supervising clinical staff and students, chairing meetings of the Clinical Advisory Committee, attending conferences and forums, working with the leadership team to develop clinical practices, providing secondary consultation, and working face-to-face to support young people as part of the leadership team’s on-duty role.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the initial and ongoing development of a new headspace centre, supported by an experienced and innovative consortium and leadership team. You will lead a strong clinical team and ensure that hsM’s clinical processes are high quality, safe, inclusive and responsive to the diverse wellbeing needs of young people and their families across our community.
