  • Full Time fixed term position until December 2021
  • Based in the Eastern Region, between the Box Hill and Wantirna Offices
  • Role is Classified as SCHADS Level 6 with Salary packaging available

The Position: 

Provide outcome-based holistic short term and long term AOD care Co-ordination and Case Management to individuals requiring AOD support.  Offering both office based and Outreach support. Provide a phone based Intake Service, as well as Bridging Support to individuals awaiting allocation to treatment.  Enhance ability of individuals, family members and significant others including mandated clients to respond to drug and alcohol concerns and support accessing appropriate services to support recovery.

To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (eg Psychology, Social Work, Social Science, Counselling) and specifically a minimum of a Cert IV in AOD or Post Graduate Certificate in AOD, including Dual Diagnosis competencies or a minimum 2 years in the AOD sector
  • Well Developed understanding of Case Management and Care Co-Ordination Skills as well as a strong understanding of Therapeutic Approaches used within the AOD sector
  •  Good computer, organisational and time management skills and the ability to be self-directed, whist working within a team
  • Current Drivers License
