Western Health Drug Health Services is seeking full time and/or part-time Dual Diagnosis Clinicians for our Dual Diagnosis Residential Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC).

This exciting new service provides a supportive and safe in patient environment over a period of three months, for people aged 18 years and over requiring a client centred, recovery oriented Dual Diagnosis Rehabilitation Program. The therapeutic and educational program offered will support and promote positive lifestyle choices. Linkages to post rehabilitation community based programs and services are also a key component of the DDRC program.   The DDRC Dual Diagnosis/AOD Clinician is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team providing both 1:1 and group interventions and support

The Dual Diagnosis/AOD Clinician is a member of a small team working collaboratively with the NUM, ANUM, Program/Quality Coordinator and medical staff.  The role includes the provision of case management, counselling, facilitation of information and therapeutic groups, facilitating all admission and discharge requirements of clients in the DDRC. The Dual Diagnosis/AOD Clinician operates across all hours of the service operation i.e. 24/7 rotating roster.
