PhD candidate, Deakin University and Burnet Institute
Additional information: Bianca Whiteside, PhD candidate, Deakin University and Burnet Institute will present on her ongoing research at our first Community Network Forum for 2024. Bianca’s research explores the influence of public amenity on drug consumption rooms. Bianca will present on 18-months of structured observations in the area particular to the North Richmond MSIR. Findings from this research will help better understand the impact of the facility and support on going work of harm reduction. Currently, Bianca is interviewing residents and traders of North Richmond.
