Dr Michael Savic

Dr Michael Savic is a Senior Research Fellow (Addiction Studies), Monash University, and Strategic Lead of Clinical and Social Research at Turning Point, Eastern Health. Michael’s research focuses on the socio-cultural aspects of alcohol and other drug use, and experiences of treatment and policy responses.

 

Responding to public drunkenness: insights from international experiences

Dr Amy Pennay

Dr Amy Pennay is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Alcohol Policy Research, La Trobe University. She is the recent recipient of an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Research Award that focuses on temporal and cross-national changes in youth drinking. She has a keen interest on drinking practices that intersect with social and cultural change, public policy, marginalisation and stigma.
