Volunteer Training Family Drug Support
18 May @ 8:00 am - 20 May @ 5:00 pm
$70Event Navigation
We are seeking volunteers for our National Support Line, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for families who are struggling with a family or friends substance use.
We aim to reduce the isolation and stigma often associated with alcohol and other drug use. We respect and value the difference between individuals and recognise there is no one ‘right’ way. Volunteers need to be able to listen without making judgements as well as helping family members and friends find strategies for looking after themselves.
We listen
We empathise
We give people time
