Victorian AOD Service Providers’ Conference: A Mixed Bag

VAADA has been funded by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to organise the Service Providers’ Conference.

The theme for the upcoming conference, developed in consultation with DHHS, is A Mixed Bag

Please note: the Service Providers’ Conference is for government-funded service providers of AOD treatment

We encourage CEOs, managers and frontline AOD workers within funded organisations to attend.

Where: Catholic Leadership Centre (CLC) 576 Victoria Parade East Melbourne, VIC 3002.

Please note:

1. The Service Providers Conference is a popular event. Please register your attendance for catering purposes.
2. If you can’t attend you can cancel your registration to make a spot available for someone else. A waitlist will be made available should the event reach capacity.
3. While we make every endeavour to ensure allergies are taken into consideration, we can only offer gluten free, vegetarian and vegan food at this event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Getting there

Tram: From Flinders st walk to Collins St and take the 12 or 109 tram to Hoddle St. From Southern Cross Station jump on the 12 or 109 at Collins St.

Train: From Flinders St or Southern Cross station, take the Hurstbridge or Mernda line to North Richmond Station. Walk 3 minutes from the station towards Hoddle St.

Bus: From Flinders St or Southern Cross Station, walk to Lonsdale St and take the 309, 304, 907, 906 or 246 bus to Cromwell St. Walk 2 mins to the CLC.

Parking:

Wilson Parking 410 Albert St East Melbourne. Early bird day rate $17.00 if you arrive between 6am and 10am and exit from 3pm – 19-minute walk or 6min tram ride down Victoria Pde.

Care Park 79 Victoria Pde, Collingwood. $20.00 13 minutes’ walk or 3 minute tram ride down Victoria Pde.

Care Park 35 Elizabeth St Richmond $12.00 all day parking if in before 10am.

ACE Parking Alowah Terrace Richmond $6:00 all day parking (arrive early), 20 minute walk or 10 minute walk to West Richmond train station. Take the Mernda or Hurstbridge line 1 stop to North Richmond Station

Street parking: Metred parking is available.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We will have a name tag available at the registration desk. If you are making a booking for multiple attendees, please include their names when you register. That way everyone will have a name tag.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. Eventbrite will send you an email reminder of your ticket. There is a link provided where you can edit your information

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes you can, but please edit your ticket with the name of the person you are transferring the ticket to (see above instructions)

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

It’s OK, but they don’t get a complementatry printed name tag, just a written one. Our handwriting isn’t great either…
