Does your work with clients need to be more trauma informed? This one day foundation workshop addresses working with clients in a trauma informed way. This includes understanding trauma and its impacts, identifying signs and symptoms of trauma and conducting trauma screening. We will cover essential reflective practice skills and practical response strategies. Developing a trauma informed service and understanding referral and working collaboratively with trauma focussed services will be addressed. We will also focus on strategies for maintaining boundaries and worker well-being.
