North East Metro Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect invites you to our upcoming Open Day during Carers Week

Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect is a new service which supports families, carers, supporters and kin of people with mental health or substance use concerns. Staffed by people with lived and living experience of caring for someone with mental health or alcohol and other drug concerns, Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect offers free support without the need for a referral or appointment. Support is available in person, over the phone and through our website. Our centre also provides the opportunity for carers to connect with each other.

We are pleased to invite carers and service providers to our open day which includes:

• a tour of our new facilities
• some light refreshments
• the chance to meet and hear from our team of family/carer peer workers

About Carers Week: National Carers Week recognises, celebrates and raises awareness about Australia’s 2.65 million carers.

How to get to the location:

If you are taking the train: By train, the nearest stations are Ivanhoe (approximately 7 minute walk) and Darebin (approximately a 7 minute walk).

If you are taking the bus: Route 250 or 510 (approximately a 6 minute walk).

If you are parking your car: Parking is available on Upper Heidelberg Road or at the Woolworths on Upper Heidelberg Road, entry via Kiernan Avenue.
