This forum will address the safe use of pharmaceutical and prescription medication specifically benzodiazepines and opioids, the new SafeScript initiative and provide health professionals with additional tools to talk with their community about the risks associated with pharmaceutical drugs.

Attendees will:

• be invited to join the discussion about their experience and thoughts on this growing problem
• receive a kit to help them have conversations with patients and share the learnings from the forum. The kit will include posters, booklets and videos
• provide input into what resources will be most beneficial to support their interactions with clients.
