Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) – Careers Nights

December 6 @ 6:30 pm - December 14 @ 8:30 pm

The Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) is a dynamic, values driven NFP, focused on partnering with Government and the community to co-design services that create real social change. We’re an organisation with a bold vision to create a safe and inclusive community freed of crime and prisons. It’s our goal to reduce re-offending and our mission is to help people transition from prison, assist them in the community, stop them from re-offending and intervene to divert others from committing crime.

ACSO is currently seeking expressions of interest from potential candidates who share our passion for delivering innovative services that respond to mental illness, disability, homelessness, substance use and/or offending behaviour. We are interested in recent tertiary and VET graduates with qualifications in either criminology, forensic/behavioural science, AOD or community services, and those already working in the sector.

We have roles available in Forensic Drug and Alcohol Assessment, Forensic Residential Care and Forensic Case Work Services.

Careers Nights are being held in different regions as an informal opportunity to gain insight into ACSO’s values, our work culture, and the positive impact we have on communities throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria. Listen to presentations on our various programs, speak to frontline staff about their roles and responsibilities, and learn how to apply for positions of interest.
