VADC Information Sharing Session

By | July 10th, 2017 | Comments Off on VADC Information Sharing Session

As part of the implementation of the new Victorian Alcohol and Drug Collection (VADC), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)  engaged VAADA to run a VADC Information Sharing Session to provide additional support to Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment providers.

At this session, AOD treatment providers who have CMS that meet the VADC specifications talked about their systems and showed examples of how they work. The session allowed AOD treatment providers who may need to procure new systems, the opportunity to get a sense of what data management systems are available, how they work, how much they cost and what might be involved in the transition process.

Further information on the VADC implementation can be found on the webpage http://go.vic.gov.au/awXeql. Questions regarding the VADC implementation can be forwarded to AODDataDev@dhhs.vic.gov.au.
